Senator Elisha Abbo, former APC representative for Adamawa North, has accused Senate President Godswill Akpabio of political manipulation and abuse of power. Speaking on Arise TV, Abbo claimed that Akpabio visited his hotel room late at night, allegedly seeking his cooperation. He further alleged that Akpabio predicted the removal of five senators, a prediction that later came true.

Abbo also accused Akpabio of ordering the withholding of his final salary, intensifying controversy within Nigeria’s political circles. The allegations have sparked widespread debate, raising concerns about the integrity of the Senate and the extent of political influence in legislative affairs. Many Nigerians are now calling for an investigation into the claims.

While the accusations have gained significant media attention, they remain unproven. Until verified in a court of law, they are still allegations. The situation underscores the deep political tensions in Nigeria and the power struggles within its leadership.
