Popular influencer, Papaya Ex, has responded to the backlash surrounding her controversial outfit at Priscilla Ojo’s wedding, which featured the groom’s photo positioned on her chest and the bride’s image near her waist.

The outfit sparked heated reactions on social media, with many Nigerians criticizing the design as inappropriate and disrespectful. In a trending clip, Papaya Ex is seen confidently flaunting the attire, which has since dominated online discussions.

Addressing the criticism in a video with Egungun of Lagos, Papaya Ex fired back, saying“Nigerians like to sexualize everything. If I had put the picture on my waist, they’ll still complain that it’s close to my c00chie. And by the way, that outfit cost me 4.5 million Naira!

Her response has only fueled more reactions of people still questioning the intent behind the design.
