The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, is overflowing with joy as his beloved daughter, Adewamiwa, marks her 18th birthday, April 20th.

The royal father took to his Instagram page to celebrate the special occasion, sharing stunning photos of his daughter along with a touching message filled with pride and love.

“Adewamiwa is 18 today! Just like that, you’ve reached this beautiful milestone. I’m so proud of the young woman you’re becoming. May God’s blessings and protection surround you today and always. With all my love, Daddy.”

The heartfelt tribute quickly drew warm reactions and congratulatory messages from fans, royal supporters, and well-wishers across the country.

Meanwhile, the ancient city of Ife also played host to a major cultural and academic gathering over the weekend, celebrating Professor Siyan Oyeweso, Pro-Chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University, during the public presentation of four landmark books he authored and edited. The ceremony, held at the Oodua Heritage House, was graced by the Ooni himself and several dignitaries from across Nigeria.
