24 hours after graduating with a distinction in her Master’s degree in International Business Management from the University of Surrey in the United Kingdom, the wife of Nigerian entrepreneur and well-known socialite Obi Cubana, Ebiere Iyiegbu—known publicly as Lush Eby—has taken to Instagram to share her heartfelt gratitude.
In a heartfelt lengthy post on Instagram, she penned:
“Yesterday marks a significant milestone in my life, and I am deeply honored to share this moment of achievement.
Graduating with an MSc in International Business Management from the University of Surrey wasn’t an easy feat.
My journey to this point has been challenging and transformative. Coming from a legal background, transitioning into the realm of business management was a considerable shift. Simultaneously, I was managing the responsibilities of raising five boys and navigating the demands of academic life independently. The numerous assignments, examinations, tests, early morning lectures, and late-night study sessions often tested my resilience. There were moments of doubt, sleepless nights, and times when I questioned why I embarked on this journey.
However, through determination, faith & perseverance, I gradually embraced every challenge as an opportunity for growth. Over time, I learned to appreciate the process and enjoy the journey.
Today, I’m humbled and grateful to have graduated with a distinction💃💃💃💃
an achievement I did not initially anticipate because I was doubting myself.
I strongly believe that it was divine intervention and God’s grace that brought me to this point.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to my family especially my SUGAH @obi_cubana, my boys, my destiny helpers (they know themselves 😛)
Your unwavering support, patience, and encouragement made this journey more manageable and meaningful.
You’ve all been my backbone, and I am truly thankful.
Lastly, I give all thanks and praise to God Almighty, whose guidance and strength have sustained me throughout this journey.
I recall stating at the outset of this course that I would strive to be the “best student” in my class 😆 and today, I can confidently say that with God’s grace, I have achieved that goal.
I’m sure my mommy and daddy (may their soul rest in peace) will be proud of me 😍🥰
Thank you all for sharing in this special celebration with me yesterday.
PHD CALLING. To answer or naa? 🤣”
