The Nigeria Customs Service said it intercepted different contrabands worth N242 million within 12 days in Ogun state, including 1,179 kilograms of Cannabis Sativa.
The acting Comptroller General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi, said this on Friday, in Abeokuta, while addressing journalists at a press conference.
Adeniyi added that the Customs also seized 1,436 used pneumatic tires also as tokunbo tires, 53 sacks, 3,149 bags of 50kg foreign parboiled rice, alongside 32 vehicles used for conveyance.
All the items were seized between September 18 and 30.
