Nollywood Actress Uche Ogbodo Posts Recovery Video After Plastic Surgery

Well-known Nollywood actress and media personality, Uche Ogbodo, has been open with fans and followers regarding her recent plastic surgery experience by posting a raw recovery video on her social media accounts.

In the video, the three-time mom is shown receiving help from the hospital staff as she slowly navigates around, obviously in the initial healing phase after surgery. Although the pain is evident, Ogbodo was as herself, telling the person who is recording to “make sure they film it well,” reflecting her openness and comfort regarding revealing her transformation.

The actress confirmed that she underwent a cosmetic procedure commonly known as a “Mummy Makeover,” which typically includes a tummy tuck and Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL). The actress went on to elaborate that her decision was motivated by a desire to feel refreshed and confident after having multiple childbirths and years of prioritizing the family over herself.

“I did it for myself. Not for anybody else,” Ogbodo confided. “I wanted to feel good about being in my own skin and start this next stage of my life feeling strong.”

This latest development is a stark departure from Ogbodo’s earlier assertions, who in pre-interviews stated that she had maintained a completely natural body using exercise and good nutrition. Her honesty at this time about undergoing surgery has spurred discussions online, where most of her supporters have commended her for being honest and independent.
