President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been conferred with the much-sought chieftaincy title of “Dike Si Mba Anambra” (Warrior from the Diaspora) by the Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council. The title was bestowed on the President when he paid his official visit to the state to commission some landmark projects executed under the watch of Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
The conferment, which was done at the Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka, was attended by dignitaries across the nation, including governors, ministers, and traditional rulers. At the occasion, Igwe Chidubem Iweka, Chairman of the Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council, commended President Tinubu for his contribution towards national development, particularly in the South East.
This is a recognition of your good works in the nation,” Igwe Iweka declared. “Your efforts at governance have touched every nook and cranny of Nigeria, including critical infrastructure projects such as the Second Niger Bridge and major road.”
President Tinubu valued the honour, highlighting the importance of unity and collaboration in advancing Nigeria. “Our diversity must be for prosperity; we must work together to build a better country,” he said. the President commissioned several projects, including the new State Government House, Governor’s Lodge, Solution Fun City, and the Emeka Anyaoku Institute for International Studies and Diplomacy.
