In a remarkable show of solidarity and commitment to humanitarian efforts, social activist VeryDarkMan took an emergency flight from Abuja to Lagos yesterday evening to join Sir Allen Onyema, the owner of Air Peace, and the team from the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) in welcoming over 70 Nigerian girls who had been trafficked to Ivory Coast

The rescue mission, spearheaded by Air Peace, provided free evacuation for the victims, ensuring their safe return to Nigeria. Sir Allen Onyema, known for his dedication to social causes, personally facilitated the operation, despite financial losses incurred due to scheduling delays.

Upon arrival, VeryDarkMan expressed deep concern over the plight of the rescued girls, noting that among them were two pregnant victims. He emphasized the importance of raising awareness about human trafficking and called on Nigerian immigration authorities to strengthen border security to prevent further exploitation.

Sir Allen Onyema also pledged additional support, covering medical checkups for all the rescued girls and urging the Nigerian government to take further action in rehabilitating and reintegrating them into society.
