After nearly a decade of waiting, Kim Kardashian is set to give testimony in a French court today in connection to the traumatic 2016 Paris robbery that saw her tied up and held at gunpoint.

The 44-year-old reality star will take the stand this afternoon to recount the events of the night she was robbed of $10 million (£7.5m) worth of jewelry, including her $4 million engagement ring from then-fiancé Kanye West. The harrowing incident occurred while Kardashian was staying in a luxury suite during Paris Fashion Week.

Her stylist, Simone Harouche, who helped raise the alarm by alerting Kardashian’s bodyguard after hearing the commotion, is expected to testify before Kardashian.

Dubbed the “grandpa robbers” by French media due to their age, 12 men were initially set to stand trial, though one passed away in March and another was excused for health reasons. Of the remaining 10, only two have admitted involvement, while the rest deny the charges.

The high-profile burglary left Kardashian deeply shaken, later revealing she feared for her life that night. Despite extensive investigations, the stolen jewelry has never been recovered. Authorities believe the items were broken down and sold.
