President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja following a significant two-day visit to Vatican City in Rome, where he attended the inauguration mass of the 267th Bishop of Rome, His Holiness, Pope Leo XIV.

The President’s visit underscores Nigeria’s commitment to fostering global religious harmony and strengthening diplomatic relations with the Vatican. During his time in Rome, President Tinubu engaged with global leaders, religious figures, and dignitaries, reaffirming Nigeria’s dedication to interfaith dialogue and international cooperation.

Speaking upon his arrival in Abuja, President Tinubu expressed his gratitude for the warm reception he received in Vatican City and emphasized the importance of unity and faith in building a prosperous and peaceful world.

The Nigerian delegation accompanying the President included senior government officials and key representatives, further solidifying diplomatic ties between Nigeria and the Holy See.
