Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has issued a strong response to Tanzanian media personality Mange Kimambi, following comments directed at her daughter, Priscilla Ojo, and her husband, Juma Jux.

Kimambi had earlier cautioned Priscilla and Juma to maintain a low profile on social media for five months, citing Tanzania’s upcoming elections as a reason for the request. In response, Iyabo Ojo took to Instagram to express her outrage, calling Kimambi’s remarks an attempt at intimidation and asserting that her daughter has the right to share content freely.

“I am appalled by your audacity!” Ojo stated. “Referring to my daughter and her husband in such a manner, calling their content ‘stupid,’ and trying to instill fear is unacceptable. As a parent, I have taught her to be confident and authentic. Keep my daughter out of your affairs. She will post what she likes, when she likes, and how she likes. She doesn’t need you to love her—she is very loved and well protected.”

Ojo further emphasized that the wedding celebrations of Priscilla and Juma were funded by the bride’s family, dismissing any speculation regarding financial support from the Tanzanian government
