The president arrived at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, and was received by a high-powered government delegation, including the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Atiku Bagudu; the Minister of Defence, Bello Matawalle; the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu; and ex-Sokoto governor Aliyu Wamakko, among others.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu returned to Abuja Saturday night from his trips to Saint Lucia and Brazil.
His first stop was Saint Lucia, where he paid a state visit as part of efforts to deepen Nigeria’s engagement with Caribbean nations and strengthen South-South cooperation.
At the end of the visit to the island State, President Tinubu flew to Brazil to participate in the 17th Summit of BRICS in Rio de Janeiro.
