As the crisis rocking Rivers State continues to unravel, an allegation has been made that the former governor of the state, Nyesom Wike is the man responsible.

A Rivers state indigene, lawyer and activist Chetam Nwala while speaking on Arise TV’s “The Morning Show” alleged that the FCT Minister demanded 25% of all the state allocation monies.

According to him, the state Governor Sim Fubara, however refused, and offered Wike 10%, which is what has reportedly led to the conflict between both men.

Chetam Nwala also alleged that Wike demanded 2 billion naira out of the 5 billion naira palliatives fund provided to the state by the federal government.
