‘A breach of Citizens Confidence’ – Peter Obi slams Supreme Court Judgment on 2023 Elections

Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 elections, Peter Obi has finally reacted to the judgment of the Supreme Court on the polls.

Peter Obi during a World Press Conference, said the Supreme Court ruling was a breach of the citizens’ trust in the judiciary.

Obi accused the apex court of ignoring evidence which he said further dampens citizens’ trust in the judiciary.

“Without equivocation, this judgment amounts to a breach of confidence Nigerians have in our judiciary. To that extent, it is a show of unreasonable force against the very Nigerian people from whom the power of the Nigerian citizens is drawn”.
