Uzodinma Dedicates Election Victory to God, after Landslide Win

Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma has dedicated his election victory to God after his landslide election victory in the November 11 governorship election.

Uzodinma during a Church Service also thanked the machinery of the ruling All Progressives Congress and all other stakeholders who played a role in his victory.

This comes after he was declared the winner of the election. He polled 540, 308 votes to defeat his closest rivals, PDP’s Sam Anyanwu who scored 71,503 votes and Labour Party’s Athan Achonu who got 64,081 votes.

According to INEC, the number of registered voters in the state for the poll was 2, 419,922 with 2,318,919 Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) collected but a total number of 701,338 votes were validly recorded at the end of the poll.
