Emefiele Remanded in Kuje Prison: Read Full List of Charges leveled by Federal Government

The High Court sitting in the Federal Capital Territory has remanded the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, to the Kuje Prison pending the determination of his bail request.

The court made the ruling in a 6-count charge case filed by the Federal Government against Emefiele on allegations of procurement fraud.

The government had initially leveled a 20 charge-count, before reducing it to 6 counts.

1. 37 Toyota Hilux vehicles: N854.7 million 

2. 1 Toyota Avalon: N99.9 million 

3. 1 Toyota Landcruiser V8: N73.8 million 

4. 2 Toyota Hilux Shell: N44.2 million

5. 2 Toyota Landcruiser VXR V8: N138 million

Meanwhile, the case was adjourned till November 22 for ruling on the bail application and November 28 for the commencement of trial.
