The High Court sitting in the Federal Capital Territory has remanded the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, to the Kuje Prison pending the determination of his bail request.
The court made the ruling in a 6-count charge case filed by the Federal Government againstĀ Emefiele on allegations of procurement fraud.
The government had initially leveled a 20 charge-count, before reducing it to 6 counts.
