Nigerian singer Chike has captivated the hearts of millions with his captivating blend of R&B, incorporating Igbo indigenous music and Afrobeats elements.
Chike has now claimed the top spot on TurnTable Top 100, Nigeria’s sole aggregate chart that amalgamates radio and TV airplay with streams across Apple Music, Spotify, Audiomack, and Boomplay.
This achievement comes courtesy of his chart-topping single ‘Egwu’, featuring the late Street pop sensation Mohbad. Since its release in December 2023, the single has garnered commercial acclaim, especially on social media, where it has been featured in over 400,000 TikTok videos.
