Troost-Ekong, Ola Aina and Ademola Lookman Named in CAF’s AFCON Team of the Tournament

Three Super Eagles players, William Troost-Ekong, Ola Aina and Ademola Lookman have been included in the official Team of the Tournament of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) published the team in a post on X.

Champions Ivory Coast also have 3 players in the team, alongside their coach Emerse Fae, who was selected as the Coach of the lineup.

In addition to Troost-Ekong who was the Best Player of the Tournament, the Goalkeeper of the Tournament, Ronwen Williams of South Africa, and the Golden Boot winner, Emilio Nsue of Equatorial Guinea, were also included in the official Team of the Tournament.
