Mr. Kunle Cole, the father-in-law of Wofai Fada, has spoken out about the recent controversy surrounding his son’s wedding.

In a leaked audio conversation, Mr. Cole expressed his disapproval of the union between his son, Taiwo Cole, and the actress, citing a lack of proper arrangements and investigation into Wofai’s background.

According to Mr. Cole, his son met Wofai just seven months ago and claimed she was pregnant with his child, prompting a rushed wedding without his consent. Mr. Cole stated that he had advised his son to take the time to get to know Wofai better and to investigate her background, but his son disregarded his advice.

Mr. Cole also expressed concern about the age gap between the couple, with Wofai being 38 years old and his son being 30.

He revealed that he had reached out to Wofai’s father to discuss the union, but was told to come back in May, only to discover that the wedding had taken place without his knowledge or approval.

Mr. Cole’s disapproval of the wedding is further complicated by the presence of his ex-wife, whom he divorced 27 years ago, at the ceremony.

He emphasized that his family cannot agree to the wedding, citing a lack of proper procedures and investigation.”
