Today, die-hard fans of the late Nigerian rap legend Dagrin (Oladapo Olaitan Olaonipekun) gathered at his final resting place to pay tribute to his memory, 14 years after his untimely passing.

Dagrin was a trailblazer in Nigerian hip-hop, celebrated for his innovative style of rapping in Yoruba, English, and Pidgin English.

His hits like “Pon Pon Pon” and “Kondo” remain iconic in the industry. Tragically, Dagrin’s life was cut short in a car accident on April 22, 2010, at just 25 years old.

He had been in a coma for eight days after the crash in Lagos.

In a heartwarming display of devotion, a group of fans recently visited his gravesite, donning custom-made tops in his honor.

The emotional visit was captured on video, showing fans taking photos beside his grave, keeping his legacy alive.

Dagrin’s impact on Nigerian rap remains unparalleled, and his memory continues to inspire new generations of artists and fans alike.
