Muiz, also known as Barber Chair, has spoken out about his departure from his mentor and hypeman, God Over Everything (GOE).

After GOE publicly announced their split, Muiz faced criticism from social media users, with some predicting negative consequences for his career.

Actress Funke Akindele also cautioned Muiz to stay with GOE to avoid harm.

In response, Muiz asked for understanding and patience, explaining that he has legitimate reasons for leaving GOE.

He distinguished his situation from that of singer Lyta, noting that he was already a hypeman before meeting GOE and achieved fame through their collaboration.

Muiz assured that he is not a bad person and requested that people understand his unique circumstances, which differ from those of Lyta and others.
