Emile Smith Rowe has completed a historic move to Fulham, leaving Arsenal in a £34 million ($43.7 million) deal that sets a new record for the Cottagers.

The 24-year-old attacking midfielder has signed a five-year contract, with an option for an additional year.

Smith Rowe expressed his excitement about the move, stating, “I’m delighted to join Fulham and start this new chapter. I’m looking forward to working with my teammates and contributing to the team’s success.”

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta praised Smith Rowe’s dedication and work ethic, saying, “Emile has been an exceptional player and person. We’re grateful for his contributions and wish him all the best at Fulham.”

After spending 14 years at Arsenal, Smith Rowe sought new opportunities due to limited playing time. Fulham’s vision and manager convinced him to make the move, seeking regular starts.

Fulham is currently in pre-season training in Portugal, where Smith Rowe will play a key role in the team’s upcoming friendlies against Benfica and Sevilla.
