Nollywood actress and producer, Jumoke George, has made a heartfelt public plea, revealing her ongoing struggles with homelessness, deteriorating health, and the disappearance of her child.
In an emotional video shared on social media, the veteran actress broke down in tears, expressing her exhaustion and desperation. She disclosed that she has been homeless for six years, battling severe health issues, and searching for her missing firstborn, Adeola, who has been unaccounted for over the past four years.
Her distressing revelation has sparked widespread concern among fans and colleagues, reigniting conversations about the welfare of aging entertainers in Nigeria. Many have taken to social media to express their support and call for assistance for the actress.
“Please pray for me, mothers in the world. Help me with your prayers. I have never ruined anyone’s life. I am tired, I can no longer bear it,” Jumoke says, visibly distressed. She highlights her struggles, stating, “I don’t have a home, I don’t have anything, and a child of mine is missing. I don’t have good health, I am tired and exhausted. I’m living in the church, most times it’s the church mummy that feeds me.”
