Actress Jumoke George’s trafficked daughter returns from Mali after 4 years

The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), led by Abike Dabiri-Erewa, facilitated Adeola’s return to Nigeria. She was received in Lagos by Dabiri-Erewa alongside Nollywood stars Biola Adebayo and Adeniyi Johnson, who played key roles in amplifying Jumoke George’s plea for help.

Jumoke George had previously spoken out about her daughter’s disappearance in an emotional interview, revealing the distress and hardship she endured during the years of separation. Her story gained widespread attention, prompting swift action from authorities and concerned individuals.

Adeola’s return marks a significant victory in the fight against human trafficking, highlighting the importance of vigilance and intervention in protecting vulnerable individuals.
