Afrobeats Star Wizkid to Release Documentary “Long Live Lagos”

Wizkid’s documentary, “Wizkid: Long Live Lagos,” will showcase the global sensation from his Lagos beginnings to international stardom. The documentary is being directed by Karam Gill and will make its worldwide premiere during the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival in New York (June 4–15), the documentary will be screened in the Spotlight+ program (with showtimes June 6, 7 and 11).

Long Live Lagos is said to take viewers through concerts and scenes in the life of Wizkid, portraying the way his music has shifted the way the world looks and views Africa.
