Akeredolu’s Corpse Arrive in Nigeria, 9 Days after Death (PHOTOS)

The corpse of the late former governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu has arrived in Nigeria.

Akeredolu’s body was brought into the country from Germany, where he passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.

The wife of the late governor, Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, his children, and siblings led by Prof. Wole Akeredolu, the immediate younger brother, received the body at the airport.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, represented by his Chief of Staff, Tayo Ayinde; Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Tokunbi Talabi; and a representative of Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, also joined in receiving the body.
