Akwa Ibom’s first lady, Umo Eno, Passes Away

The Akwa Ibom State Government has announced the death of First Lady Patience Umo Eno, wife of Governor Pastor Umo Eno.

According to State Commissioner for Information Ini Ememobong, Mrs. Eno passed away on September 26, 2024, after battling an illness. She died peacefully at a hospital, surrounded by her family.

The government and family request prayers and support during this difficult time. The family will release further details as necessary and has asked for privacy to mourn.

Governor Umo Eno expressed gratitude for the support and assured citizens of his continued commitment to serving the state despite this personal loss.
