Druski, a popular comedian, has sparked outrage among Nigerians with his recent videos that many consider offensive and stereotypical.

In the sketches, he dons traditional Yoruba attire, assumes the name “Tunde,” and portrays a character perpetuating African scamming stereotypes.

The videos depict Druski engaging in mock phone calls about money transfers, culminating in a champagne celebration. His caption, “African Scammers be living the best life,” exacerbated the controversy.

Nigerians have condemned the content, criticizing Druski for perpetuating harmful stereotypes. They argue that the sketch unfairly associates Nigerians with scamming and ignores the lack of evidence supporting such claims.
