American rapper and YouTuber Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., popularly known as DDG, has revealed his desire to relocate to Lagos, Nigeria.

In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, “I wanna move to Lagos. I’m tired of being in America.”

His statement comes amid ongoing personal challenges, particularly co-parenting issues with his ex, singer Halle Bailey, over their son, Halo. DDG has expressed frustration about limited time with his child, which may be influencing his thoughts about a fresh start elsewhere.

Reacting to his post, Nigerian music star Davido extended an invitation, offering to host DDG and his son in Lagos.

While DDG has not confirmed any concrete plans to move, his interest in Nigeria reflects a growing trend of international artists seeking new cultural experiences and opportunities abroad.
