Ruben Amorim began his tenure as Manchester United manager with a 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town in the Premier League.

The 39-year-old officially took over on November 11, with his first match following the international break.

Marcus Rashford gave United a perfect start, scoring inside the opening two minutes. However, Ipswich equalized before halftime with a stunning goal from Omari Hutchinson.

The hosts had several chances to claim all three points, including a near miss from Liam Delap, but the game ended in a draw at Portman Road.

Amorim’s next test will be a home match against Everton at Old Trafford.
