‘Anikulapo’ TV Series Debuts in Lagos ahead of March 1 Launch

The eagerly anticipated Nollywood series, “Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre”, a spinoff from the popular movie “Anikulapo”, premiered in Lagos on Sunday.

The grand event, hosted at the Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, saw the presence of the main cast of the new series, along with other A-list actors, all adorned in vibrant and delightful outfits.

“Anikulapo: Rise Of The Spectre”, an epic series, is set to hit Netflix on March 1, reaching audiences in over 190 countries worldwide.

Kunle Afolayan, the producer, and director of the series, expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the project’s success during the premiere.

He stated, “Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre has been in the works for eight years, and finally, it is here. I want to specially thank ‘Olodumare’ for the grace, for the knowledge and the wisdom. I want to thank my cast and the crew for believing in the dream, for believing in me, and for always being there.”

“I want to thank Maami for the prayers at night and the day. May God be with you. I want to thank all our supporters, everybody who has contributed to making today happen”.
