Aregbesola Suspended by Osun APC Over Anti-Party Activities

Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, former Minister of Interior, has been suspended by the Osun State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) due to alleged anti-party activities.

The suspension stems from Aregbesola’s alleged creation of a splinter faction, which has undermined party cohesion and unity, particularly during a critical period in Osun politics. This has fueled internal divisions, detrimental to the party’s interests.

A formal resolution outlining the reasons for the suspension was submitted to the APC National Secretariat, addressed to National Chairman Dr. Umar Ganduje.

Aregbesola’s camp has yet to respond to the suspension, aimed at addressing perceived disloyalty and internal discord within the Osun APC.
