Arsenal maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a 3-1 comeback victory over winless Southampton at Emirates Stadium. The win marked the Gunners’ 400th Premier League home triumph.

Southampton took a surprise lead in the 55th minute through Cameron Archer’s counter-attack goal. However, Arsenal swiftly equalized courtesy of Kai Havertz’s excellent finish three minutes later.

Gabriel Martinelli added a second goal in the 68th minute, heading home Bukayo Saka’s cross. Saka then sealed the win with a clinical finish in the 88th minute.

Despite a spirited response, Southampton were twice denied by the woodwork. The defeat leaves them with just one point from seven games, while Arsenal remain within one point of leaders Liverpool ahead of the international break.

The victory extends Arsenal’s unbeaten run in all competitions to 16 matches, underscoring their strong start to the season.
