Arsenal Football Club has reached an agreement with AFC Bournemouth to sign experienced goalkeeper Neto on a season-long loan deal.

The 35-year-old Brazilian shot-stopper will join the Gunners as a backup to first-choice goalkeeper David Raya, bolstering the team’s goalkeeping options.

Neto’s arrival at the Emirates Stadium comes as Aaron Ramsdale prepares to depart for Southampton, leaving a void in the squad.

The loan deal is a straight agreement with no option or obligation for Arsenal to purchase Neto permanently at the end of the season.

With his wealth of experience and impressive skills, Neto is expected to provide reliable support to Raya and contribute to the team’s success in the upcoming campaign.

The Brazilian goalkeeper has previously played for notable clubs, including Barcelona and Juventus, and has earned international caps for Brazil.

The signing of Neto reinforces Arsenal’s goalkeeping department, ensuring that the team has a strong and experienced presence between the posts throughout the season.
