The news of her passing sent shockwaves across the community, with Acting Chairman Otunba Ladi Oluwaloni (OLO 1) describing it as a devastating loss.

According to Oluwaloni, he received the heartbreaking news while on an official assignment at the Lagos State Secretariat.

“Hon. Chief (Mrs.) Shobowale was more than a leader—she was a beacon of hope, a mentor, and a mother to many. Her unwavering dedication to grassroots development and the betterment of Ayobo-Ipaja will never be forgotten,” he said in a moving tribute.

Shobowale was widely regarded as a transformational leader who championed several developmental projects, including infrastructural improvements, enhanced healthcare services, and community empowerment initiatives.

Oluwaloni assured that her legacy of service and integrity would continue to inspire future generations.
