Ayra Starr and Asake Set to Headline Hot 97 Summer Jam Festival 2025

Nigerian Afrobeats sensations Ayra Starr and Asake are set to light up the stage as co-headliners at the iconic Hot 97 Summer Jam Festival on June 20, 2025, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. 

This exciting announcement further solidifies the global rise of Afrobeats and the genre’s growing influence on international music festivals.

The 2025 Hot 97 Summer Jam lineup promises to be a star-studded affair, with Ayra Starr and Asake leading the charge. Joining them will be top artists such as A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Gunna, GloRilla, and Ja Rule & Friends: A Tribute to Irv Gotti, among others. 

The event will showcase a diverse range of performances, highlighting both established and emerging talent across hip-hop, R&B, and Afrobeats.

This year’s festival is produced by The Black Promoters Collective, in collaboration with the Prudential North To Shore Festival, and marks a celebration of the vibrant evolution of hip-hop. The event will not only spotlight iconic hip-hop figures but will also place Afrobeats at the forefront of global music culture.
