Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has added her voice to the widespread outrage following the gruesome murder of Idowu Christianah, a 300-level student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB).

Christianah’s life was brutally cut short in a horrifying betrayal by her so-called ‘friend’ Ayomide Adeleye, a man now unmasked as not just a cold-blooded killer but a potential serial murderer.

The shocking news broke on September 5, 2024, sending waves of revulsion across social media. Ayomide Adeleye, a 200-level student of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), was revealed as the primary suspect in Christianah’s murder after being apprehended weeks after she was declared missing

As news of this grotesque crime spread, it drew the attention of prominent figures, including singer Ayra Starr.

Known for her bold and fearless voice in music, Ayra took to her official X page, where she expressed her shock and disgust at the heinous act.

The Sabi Girl did not hold back, passionately calling for justice for Christianah and every woman who has suffered under the brutal hands of men like Adeleye.

She emphasized that enough is enough, demanding that men stop the senseless killing and assault of women, firmly stating that women deserve better.

In her words:

“Stop killing us ! Stop rap!ng us ! Women deserve better.”
