Ayra Starr’s Hit Track ‘Rush’ up for Grammy Award Consideration

Fast rising Nigerian artiste, Sarah Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr, has revealed that her hit song ‘Rush’ from her debut album, ‘19 & Dangerous’ is being considered for nomination for the 66th Annual Grammy Awards.

The singer disclosed this in a post on Instagram.

Ayra Starr who thanked her fans for their support as well as her team, confirmed that the hit song ‘Rush‘, was submitted to the Recording Academy. However she did not disclose the category for which the track is being nominated for the Grammy Awards 2024.


Meanwhile, American music statistics company Chart Data disclosed that a total of 122 songs have been submitted for consideration for nomination in the newly created “Best African Performance” category at the Grammys.
