Nigerian comedian Baba De Baba has accused businesswoman May Edochie and her lawyer, Emeka Ugwuonye, of attempting to assassinate him. His claims come after Edochie filed a defamation lawsuit against him.

In a video shared on his Instagram page, Baba De Baba alleged that his life and family were in danger, linking the threats to his public commentary on May Edochie’s legal battle. He also raised alarm over his missing son, stating that the child had not returned home the previous day.

“If anything happens to me and my family, May Edochie and Emeka Ugwuonye should be held responsible. My family has been threatened because of May Edochie’s drama,” he declared. He further claimed that people who criticize Edochie often face intimidation and are forced to apologize.

The comedian revealed that he had been advised to report his son’s disappearance to the police after 48 hours if he did not return. He also dismissed claims that he was avoiding a court case, insisting that he was not on the run.

The allegations have sparked public debate, adding another layer of controversy to May Edochie’s ongoing legal battles.
