Baba Tee Denies Affair With Ijoba Lande’s Estranged Wife, Challenges Him to Provide Evidence

Nigerian actor, comedian, and MC Babatunde Bernard Tayo, popularly known as Baba Tee, has finally responded to claims that he had an affair with the wife of his colleague, Ijoba Lande.

Ijoba Lande, born Ganiyu Kehinde, had earlier gone on Instagram Live to announce his separation from his wife, Dara, expressing frustration over her decision to leave their home after he was demonetized on Facebook and YouTube, which had previously earned him about N6 million monthly.

Following this, Lande called out Baba Tee on social media for blocking him on Instagram, stating that he regretted ever respecting him. His outburst sparked speculations that Baba Tee, who has been through two failed marriages, might be romantically involved with Dara.

Adding to the controversy, Lande later accused his estranged wife of infidelity, claiming she had affairs with about 21 actors and that he possessed video and photo evidence to support his claims.

Amid the growing accusations, Baba Tee took to social media to clear his name, stating that he had no intimate relationship with Dara. According to him, he only met her through a mutual friend, Marygold, and was unaware of her marital status at the time.

“I have never met Lande’s wife all my life until mid-last year when Marygold brought her to my house. She introduced her to me as a skit maker and upcoming artiste,” Baba Tee explained.

He further challenged Lande to present evidence to support his claims, stating that he had only met him once, contrary to Lande’s assertion that he regularly prostrated in respect whenever they met.

“Now I am challenging Lande to present the evidence to the world that I slept with his wife,” Baba Tee declared.
