BBNaija’s Queen Mercy Atang Speaks on Unsolicited Messages Sent to Her Husband

BBNaija star Queen Mercy Atang has expressed frustration over the numerous unsolicited messages her husband, King David, receives from strangers. Taking to Instagram, she shared one of the messages sent to him:

“Good day sir. How are you doing today? Tell your amoeba of a wife to delete my comment she pinned on her page, or else I will continue dragging the hell outta her. Why would she even block me at that?”

In a lengthy caption, Queen Mercy addressed the issue, revealing that this was not the first time people had invaded her husband’s DMs to insult or criticize her. She wrote:

“This isn’t the first time these ‘strolls’ have found their way into my husband’s DMs to say ridiculous things. You trolled me, I reacted, and then you ran to his DMs to say you want to drag me. Did someone tell you I’m scared of being dragged? I’ve had enough of it. You have no idea what I’ve been through when it comes to online trolling; I’ve developed a thick skin for it.

“I now understand why so many people keep their marriages low-key. Trust me, this space is not safe. A few months ago, when rumors spread that my husband and I had broken up, the number of girls who flooded his DMs was shocking. Some were bad-mouthing me, others boldly offering to marry him, claiming they’d be more ‘obedient’ than me. I’ve really seen it all in this space.”

She went on to express how difficult it has been dealing with the messages, admitting that sometimes she considers keeping her husband’s social media private to avoid the negativity.

“Sometimes I feel like hiding his Instagram account or just stopping myself from posting him. The kind of messages he reads about me—only God can help me handle it.”

Ending her message with a firm warning, Queen Mercy cautioned those trying to stir trouble in her marriage:

“Please, if you want to drag me, go ahead, but don’t cross the line. Because if I decide to make an example out of you, you won’t like it.”

Queen Mercy and King David have been in the public eye since making their relationship official. While they recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary, their marriage has faced public scrutiny, especially after rumors of a breakup surfaced months ago.

By speaking out, Queen Mercy sheds light on the challenges public figures face, urging people to respect personal boundaries and stop interfering in her marriage.
