In the wake of the ongoing discussions surrounding the late singer Mohbad’s mysterious death, Nigerian socialite Bobrisky has come forward to defend Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi, against public criticism.

Bobrisky expressed his support for Wunmi, emphasizing that she owes no one further explanations regarding her actions or circumstances. He highlighted that Wunmi has already addressed various allegations multiple times, yet many continue to disregard her statements simply because they don’t align with preconceived notions.

He also expressed shock at seeing individuals, including mothers and grandmothers, creating videos to insult Wunmi. He suggested that those without occupation should find productive activities, such as picking beans, rather than engaging in online harassment.

Bobrisky’s comments come amidst a turbulent period for Wunmi, who has been facing public scrutiny and familial disputes following Mohbad’s untimely death in September 2023. In a recent interview, Wunmi revealed that she has been receiving daily death threats and feels unsafe. She also accused her father-in-law of attempting to control her late husband’s properties and making disparaging remarks about their son, Liam.

Despite the challenges, Wunmi has chosen to seek justice through legal channels rather than engaging in public disputes on social media. She has urged supporters to honor Mohbad’s memory by refraining from negative comments and defamation.

Bobrisky’s public support adds a significant voice to those advocating for respect and empathy towards Wunmi during this challenging time.
