Bournemouth Shocks Arsenal 2-0 After Saliba’s Red Card

Bournemouth handed Arsenal their first loss of the season, defeating them 2-0 at Vitality Stadium.

The turning point came when William Saliba received his first-ever red card in the 29th minute for tripping Evanilson.

Down to 10 men, Arsenal’s resilience was eventually broken. Ryan Christie scored a brilliant goal in the 70th minute, capitalizing on a clever corner routine.

Substitute Justin Kluivert sealed the win with a penalty conversion in the 79th minute, after Evanilson was fouled by Raya.

This victory marked a significant turnaround for Bournemouth, ending their four-game losing streak against Arsenal and moving them up to 10th in the table.

Arsenal, meanwhile, missed their chance to take the top spot ahead of Liverpool’s match against Chelsea.
