The Recording Academy has today unveiled the nominees in 94 separate categories for the 2024 Grammy Awards, which holds on Sunday February 4.
Some of the standout categories include Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Best African Music Performance, Song of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Gospel Album, Best Global Music Album, among others.
As with recent years, several Nigerian stars were nominated for the Grammys. Burna Boy leads the way with 4 nominations, with Davido having 3 nominations. Olamide emerged as the first Nigerian rapper to be nominated for the Grammy, with Asake and Ayra Starr also nominated.
Asides Burna Boy, the other Nigerian artistes are earning their first ever Grammy nominations.

Burna Boy‘s AloneĀ and Davido‘s Feel are both nominated for Best Global Music Performance; while Burna Boy‘s ‘Sittinā on Top of the World’ was nominated for the Best Melodic Rap Performance.
