Ahead of the American presidential campaign, Elon Musk and Cardi B had a heated exchange on social media. A video circulated on Twitter showing Cardi B struggling on stage due to a teleprompter malfunction, with one user describing it as “Holy embarrassing.”

Musk quoted the video, criticizing her as “another puppet who can’t even talk without being fed the words,” and questioned the authenticity of Kamala Harris’s campaign.

In response, Cardi B defended herself, clarifying that she’s far from a puppet. She shared that she’s the daughter of two immigrant parents who worked tirelessly to support her, and emphasized her journey through welfare, Section 8 housing, and poverty. Cardi noted that Musk might not understand the American struggles many face, ending her message with a playful request for Musk to “fix my algorithm.”
