Chelsea Suffers 2-1 Defeat to Aston Villa After Late Goal

Chelsea suffered a 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa in their Premier League clash on Saturday, February 22, 2025.

The Blues took an early lead in the 9th minute when Enzo Fernández scored from a Pedro Neto assist. However, Villa responded in the 57th minute, with Marco Asensio finding the net after a setup from Marcus Rashford.

As the match neared its conclusion, a costly error by Chelsea goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen in the 90th minute allowed Asensio to score his second goal, securing a dramatic victory for Aston Villa.
