Nollywood actress Chika Ike has joyfully announced the birth of her child. On her Instagram page, she shared heartfelt photos with her newborn, captioning them: “My Baby is here. Welcome to the world, my sunshine.”
Following her pregnancy announcement in February 2025, rumors circulated suggesting that billionaire businessman and politician Ned Nwoko was the father of her child. These speculations intensified when Nwoko’s wife, actress Regina Daniels, deactivated her Instagram account amid the rumors.
Addressing these rumors, Chika Ike firmly denied any involvement with Nwoko, stating, “Ned isn’t the Father of my child… Polygamy isn’t for me.” Similarly, Ned Nwoko’s spokesperson dismissed the claims as “false and baseless,” emphasizing that Nwoko is focused on his political duties and has no intentions of marrying the actress.
As Chika Ike embraces motherhood, she continues to receive an outpouring of support and congratulations from fans and colleagues, while firmly dispelling unfounded rumors about her personal life.
