CKay‘s ‘Love Nwantiti’ continues to make waves, solidifying its status as one of the most successful Nigerian songs in history. Originally released in 2019 as part of CKay‘s EP ‘CKay The First’, the track gained massive popularity globally after becoming a sensation on TikTok in 2021.

The latest milestone for ‘Love Nwantiti’ comes with its certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for an incredible eight times platinum. This achievement cements the song’s position as a standout hit not only in Nigeria but also on the international stage.

The song’s success story includes a remarkable journey on the Billboard Hot 100, where it reached No. 26. Its platinum journey began in January 2022, shortly after its viral explosion on TikTok. Subsequently, it achieved two times platinum status in September 2022 and four times platinum in January 2023.

CKay‘s masterpiece has captivated audiences worldwide and propelled Afrobeats music to unprecedented heights, showcasing the genre’s global appeal and influence.
