Court Grants Omoyele Sowore ₦10 Million Bail

A court has granted bail to Omoyele Sowore, the convener of the #RevolutionNow movement, in the sum of ₦10 million with one surety in like sum.

The surety must be a responsible individual with landed property of equal value. Additionally, the surety is required to submit the original property documents and a passport photograph to the court registrar.

While ruling on the bail application, Justice Musa Liman ordered Sowore to surrender his international passport to the court. The judge also gave him 24 hours to meet the bail conditions or remain in police custody until the requirements are fulfilled.
