The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court has ordered the remand of former Kogi State governor Yahaya Bello and his two co-defendants in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Justice Maryanne Anenih issued the order on Wednesday, directing that Bello, along with Umar Oricha and Abdulsalami Hudu, remain in EFCC custody until December 10, when the court will rule on their bail applications.

The trio was arraigned on a 16-count charge filed by the EFCC, which accuses them of criminal breach of trust involving N110.4 billion. They pleaded not guilty to all charges, prompting the court to hear arguments from their lawyers on the bail requests.
